As we reach the end of the summer, here are some notes on the project:
1. The high school parking lot reopen on Monday the 27th. Work will continue on the bioswale, and the parking stalls are striped and the lighting installed. Note that at this point, the parking lot has only the base level of paving. The final paving of the high school parking lot paving will not occur until the end of construction next summer.
2. The gym exterior panels are almost completed . After the completion of the precast panel installation, structural steel joists will be put in place. Footings for the interior work will begin.
3. Construction fencing will go up around the actual gymnasium work (as contrasted with all the parking lot work, which had snow fences only.
4. The middle school parking lot is complete. Striping for parking and traffic for this year will follow. This will be a transition year for that parking lot, since next year, the back parking lot will be pulled up and turned into play areas.
